Silvia Patalano has been teaching in the Bronx for 10 years. She graduated from Siena College with her Bachelor's Degree in History Education and from Fordham University with her Master's Degree in Global Studies. She is currently pursuing her second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Patalano is passionate about teaching Global History, pushing her students to engage in high-level thinking and writing activities about the major events, leaders, and movements that have shaped our current world. She is a founding staff member of MSHS and is committed to building a school in which all students are given the opportunity to achieve college and career-ready readiness.
