Sneak Peak into S.T.E.M. Classroom
It’s not a job when you love what you do and working here at Metropolitan Soundview is a pleasure. I began working at Metropolitan Soundview while it was only in its second year. Over the years, I have witnessed MSHS grow and flourish into a caring and supportive school community. Teachers here at MSHS work collaboratively to ensure student success while challenging our students to be creative, thoughtful problem solvers.
This year will mark my fourteenth year of teaching. I graduated from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry College in 2003 with a B.S. in Environmental Science. Immediately after college I began my teaching career in a Parochial school in Queens, NY. I received my Master’s Degree in Education in 2008 from Molloy College. Prior to coming to Metropolitan Soundview I worked in two other schools but I have found my home here at MSHS.
